Former Biden Climate Czar John Kerry said during an appearance at a World Economic Forum panel that the First Amendment is standing in the way of eradicating so-called ” misinformation.”
“Our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to hammer [disinfo/misinfo] out of existence,” Kerry said.
“What we need is to win… the right to govern by hopefully winning enough votes that you’re free to be able to implement change.”

Unfortunately for Kerry, the 1A and the entire Bill of Rights were designed as a “roadblock” against those within a tyrannical government like his.

Kerry continued:
“I think the dislike of and anguish over social media is just growing and is part of our problem, particularly in democracies.
In terms of building consensus around any issue, it’s really hard to govern today; you can’t.
People self-select where they go for their news or for their information, and then you just get into a vicious cycle.
There’s a lot of discussion now about how you curb those entities in order to guarantee that you’re going to have, you know, some accountability on facts.
So what we need is to win the ground and win the right to govern by hopefully winning enough votes that you’re free to implement change.”
Of course, Kerry needs to eradicate free speech in order to help push the green agenda.
Before Kerry left his position as Biden’s climate Czar in March, he declared the green transition would be bigger than the Industrial Revolution.
“While I’m leaving the job that I’m in today, I believe I’m gonna liberate myself to actually be more engaged!” John Kerry said.
Kerry said the transition to green energy will be “larger even than the industrial revolution.”
