Former CNN hack Don Lemon shared his firsthand experiences with CNN after speaking with black voters across battleground states.
Lemon’s news isn’t good for Kamala Harris‘s campaign, as she continues to lose her grip on the traditional Democratic stronghold of the black vote.
Recounting his travels through key swing states, speaking with the “man on the street,” Lemon sounded the alarm that many black male voters are voting for former President Donald Trump.
“Time after time after time they said, ‘I’m voting for Donald Trump,'” Lemon stated.
The primary reason voters gave for voting Trump, Lemon said, was economic.
However, Lemon said he had to “correct” these voters’ misconceptions.

“I had to correct them over and over and tell them that stimulus check came from a Democratic Congress and Nancy Pelosi,” he said.
The former CNN host claimed that Trump delayed the distribution of checks to ensure his name was printed on them
Lemon’s observations of a shift in black voter support are supported by recent polling.
Vice President Harris holds a 63-point advantage among all black voters, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll.
However, it pales in comparison to the 81-point lead that President Joe Biden enjoyed in 2020 and the 85-point lead that Hillary Clinton had in 2016.
The gap narrows even more for black male voters.
Harris leads this demographic by 53 points, a major drop om the support levels seen by previous Democratic candidates
This trend was highlighted by CNN’s Harry Enten, who said that Harris holds only a 41-point lead among black men aged 18 to 44.

This marks a drastic decline from the 81 percent support former President Barack Obama received in 2012.
