Mainstream Media Admits Shift to ‘Green Energy’ Will Cause Mass Blackouts

The establishment media has finally admitted that the corrupt globalists forced to shift towards green energy will cause havoc with power supplies and push the power grid to “the brink.”

In places like Northern Virginia, where the equivalent of several big nuclear plants is required to handle the upcoming data centers there, demand is skyrocketing.

Meanwhile, growing demand could push it to a breaking point in Texas, as we’ve already seen electricity shortages on the hottest days of summer.

Arizona’s biggest utility is expected to be out of transmission capacity before the decade’s end.

The Washington Post reports:

“Vast swaths of the United States are at risk of running short of power as electricity-hungry data centers and clean-technology factories proliferate around the country, leaving utilities and regulators grasping for credible plans to expand the nation’s creaking power grid.”

Given its great demand for power, they cite AI, rapid scaling of cloud computing, and Crypto mining as part of the problem.

They also highlight that manufacturers of clean technologies such as electric vehicle batteries are building many factories while being supported by federal incentives. However, utility projections for the power required by these new factories have nearly doubled and could grow even further.

They also add that the green energy transition is pushing many Americans to rely on the power grid for fueling their cars, heat pumps, and other appliances that used to run on fossil fuels.

The chairman of the electricity regulator Georgia Public Service Commission, Jason Shaw, said:

“When you look at the numbers, it is staggering. It makes you scratch your head and wonder how we ended up in this situation. How were the projections that far off? This has created a challenge like we have never seen before.”

Meanwhile, solar plant inverters are suffering from systemic performance issues that can trigger major power outages.

They said:

“The NERC summer reliability assessment is a warning to the Biden Administration and states moving full speed ahead on the green energy transition.”

According to a new study, power outages have increased by 93 percent across the United States over the last five years.

Americanenergyalliance.org reports:

Texas, who leads the nation in wind generation, and California, who leads the nation in solar generation, have had the largest number of power outages in the nation over those 5 years. The U.S. electric power grid is aging but it is being asked to handle increasing demand from President Biden’s forced “green” energy transition along with an increase in generation from intermittent and weather-driven renewables (wind and solar), which are to displace affordable and reliable natural gas and coal power that currently supply almost 60 percent of U.S. generation. That is a prescription for more power outages to come.

The problems don’t end there.

The U.S. also faces a major threat of an all-out cyber attack from China, which threatens to take down the power grid completely.

As we highlighted earlier this year, the looming threat of a major cyber attack against the U.S. is becoming more likely after the FBI admitted that Chinese hackers are planning an all-out assault on the country’s power grid and infrastructure.

A cyber attack against the United States would not just be devastating for Americans; it would also allow China to take advantage of the ensuing chaos, especially with it being an election year.

According to U.S. officials, they have already foiled a state-backed Chinese effort to plant malware to damage civilian infrastructure.

The head of the FBI is now warning that China is preparing to disrupt the lives of Americans as much as possible in the run-up to the 2024 election.
