Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller announced the Trump administration’s plans to investigate widespread child trafficking crimes occurring across the United States, with a particular emphasis on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Miller vowed to hold accountable anyone involved in these heinous activities, including Democratic officials.
“This administration is committed to investigating every instance of child trafficking, labor trafficking, sex trafficking, child smuggling, and all related crimes,” Miller declared.
“We are resolute in our mission to eradicate this scourge and bring justice to the victims.”
Miller called for nationwide cooperation, stating, “Our message is clear: work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement so we can put an end to the epidemic of child trafficking and abuse that has plagued our nation in recent years.”

Since Joe Biden assumed office in 2021, reports suggest a dramatic increase in child trafficking at the southern border, with criminal networks exploiting lax immigration enforcement policies to profit from these atrocities.

Many of the victims have reportedly been subjected to sexual exploitation and forced labor.
Under Trump’s presidency, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) collaborated to close loopholes introduced during the Biden administration, which criminal organizations had exploited.
The Trump administration also pledged stricter penalties for traffickers, including mandatory ten-year minimum sentences, life imprisonment, and even capital punishment in severe cases.
Miller has been vocal about his concerns regarding the Biden administration. Speaking to MSNBC’s Ari Melber, he alleged that Vice President Kamala Harris was complicit in child trafficking.
“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the world’s leading traffickers of children and girls into sex slavery,” Miller stated.
“This is a catastrophic betrayal of America’s values. How many people are in jail for this?”
He also warned about the dangers of government overreach, adding, “The weaponization of government marks the beginning of the end for American democracy. When a country imprisons people for free speech or legal challenges to questionable election results, it is no longer a free nation.”
Echoing Miller’s sentiments, Republican Senator Josh Hawley has accused the Biden administration of facilitating what he described as “the largest child trafficking ring in American history.”
“How many of the approximately 430,000 unaccompanied children who have crossed the border under this administration are you in regular contact with?” Hawley asked a Biden official during a recent hearing.
“I would urge you to stop enabling the largest child trafficking operation in our nation’s history,” Hawley concluded.
