Disgraced former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has sounded the alarm over growing panic inside the FBI, as President Donald Trump continues his brutal crackdown on deep-state corruption, targeting officials involved in the politically motivated January 6 cases.
Recenlt, Trump fired David Sundberg, the top official at the FBI’s Washington Field Office, along with nearly 90 other high-ranking FBI officials last Friday.
According to insiders, this is just the beginning—another wave of firings is expected soon, as Trump moves to hold accountable those involved in the weaponization of federal agencies against the American people.
McCabe, who was himself fired from the FBI in 2018 for lying under oath, admitted that FBI agents are in panic mode, bracing for the next round of dismissals.
“This is totally unprecedented,” McCabe said in a recent interview, describing the current state of disarray inside the Bureau.
“I’ve talked to more FBI people in the last 4 days than I did in the prior 4 years,” he added, revealing that fear has gripped the agency as Trump reasserts control.
Many FBI agents, McCabe claimed, are worried about their financial futures if they are dismissed from their posts.

“People are worried—how am I going to pay the bills? How am I gonna support my family?”
Watch
McCabe, who successfully sued the DOJ in 2019 to have his pension reinstated, also warned that being fired from the FBI has severe consequences:
“If you get fired, you’re done. That’s the end of your reputation, your ability to get any job. You lose your pay, you lose your chance at a pension, you lose your health insurance.”
Interestingly, his words echo the struggles of the January 6 defendants, who lost their livelihoods, homes, and reputations after being aggressively prosecuted under the Biden administration. But McCabe has little sympathy for those Americans—his concern lies only with the federal agents now facing accountability.
“This is a moment of terror for these people,” McCabe admitted.
McCabe’s History of Targeting Trump
McCabe has a long history of anti-Trump bias and was a central figure in launching the Russiagate hoax.
In May 2017, shortly after Trump fired then-FBI Director James Comey, McCabe retaliated by opening a counterintelligence investigation into the president, claiming he needed to determine if Trump was secretly an agent of Russia.
McCabe also initiated an obstruction of justice probe against Trump for firing Comey—despite no evidence of wrongdoing.
However, in a twist of irony, McCabe was later fired from the FBI himself after the DOJ found he lied multiple times to federal investigators about leaking sensitive information to the media. At the time, then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions confirmed:
“McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor—including under oath—on multiple occasions.”
Despite his dismissal, McCabe sued the DOJ in 2019 and managed to get his pension back, after the U.S. government was forced to reinstate him as “retired in good standing.”
The Swamp is Being Drained
With Trump dismantling the political weaponization of the FBI, many of the same deep-state actors who conspired against him are now scrambling to protect themselves.
McCabe’s public statements suggest more heads are about to roll, and for once, it’s not Trump supporters—but corrupt officials—who are facing the consequences.
