COVID Spike Proteins Transform Benign Cancer Cells into ‘Turbo Tumors,’ Study

Spike proteins from COVID-19 have been found to rapidly turn benign cancer cells into imperishable tumors, according to a bombshell new study from Brown University.

Dr. Wafik El-Deiry, who led the study with a team of scientists at Brown’s Legorreta Cancer Center, found that spike proteins shields cancer cells from the effects of chemotherapy, enabling them to grow at an exponential rate.

The spike proteins also block the functions of the anti-cancer gene p53, allowing the tumor to grow exponentially within the body.

El-Deiry explains that allowing cancer cells to escape the body’s natural defenses creates the perfect environment for them to grow unabated.

The study further notes that chemotherapy drugs used to activate the p53 genes were rendered useless after researchers found that cancer cells containing spike protein subunits displayed resistance to chemotherapy.

“We saw enhanced cancer cell viability in the presence of SARS-CoV-2 spike S2 subunit after treatment with several chemotherapy agents,” said El-Deiry.

COVID-19 vaccines and cancer rates

A recent Japanese study published in the medical journal Cureus earlier this year also supports Brown’s research.

The study examined age-adjusted mortality rates for 20 different types of cancers using official death statistics, SARS-CoV-2 infections, and vaccination rates from 2020 to 2022 in Japan.

Japan, which is now on its seventh vaccine dose, shows “statistically significant increases” in cancer deaths following the third vaccine rollout.

During the initial year of the pandemic, there were no excessive cancer mortalities (-0.4 percent).

However, excess cancer mortalities jumped by 1.1 percent after the mass vaccination campaigns with the first and second doses in 2021 and then jumped to 2.1 percent in 2022 after the rollout of the third COVID shot.

All of the six cancer types exceeded anticipated mortality values in the years 2021 and 2022, while pancreatic cancer showed a steady rise predating the pandemic.

Between the age group of 80 to 84 years old, 90 percent of the cancer-related mortalities were from those who had received the third vaccine dose.

Almost all vaccines administered were mRNA, with 78 percent Pfizer and 22 percent Moderna.

Researchers argued that even with limited healthcare and reduced cancer screenings at the time, the mortality rate increase in these cancer types was unexplainable due to the fact that the restrictions where resolved in 2022.
